One of those movies you could watch any day of the week, there is no
film that is a greater expression of joy than Singin’ In The Rain. Full of the
most wonderful of song-and-dance numbers from Nacio Brown and Arthur Freed,
they are beautifully performed, as is the movie as a whole by principals Gene
Kelly, Donald O’Connor and Debbie Reynolds. Furthermore, it’s the best movie
about moviemaking, and primarily through Jean Hagen’s Lina Lamont a spiky
little satire on Hollywood. Full of fun and cheeky jest, this is easily among
the most easily watchable and entertaining films ever made.
