While Stan Laurel may have
been a brilliant writer, history will remember his work as a performer with the
Oliver Hardy. The onscreen chemistry, both from a physical and dialectical
standpoint, was simply inimitable. Eighty-five plus years since Putting Pants
On Philip, nothing in cinematic comedy has reached the heights of the 107 films
made by Laurel & Hardy.
