Jackknife cinematic
brilliance, James Cameron would go on to make some great big-budget films, but
never topped this low-budget masterpiece. Tight, efficient filmmaking, the
exposition is told masterfully on the road, with Kyle Reese and Sarah Connor
being chased by Arnie’s iconic and terrifying Terminator. An exploitation film
with an astonishing level of complexity, it is quite possibly the greatest film
ever made.
